Hilary Duff

As many of you know Hilary Duff is all about helping those less fortunate, that especially goes for children in school that don’t have much. Hilary has a program called, “Blessings in a Backpack” that feeds elementary school children and their families over the weekends when a child is not in school. She just doesn’t want to see any child going without food just because school doors close on Friday nights. I saw woo hoo for her.

In this program each child is given a backpack full of food every Friday before they head for home. I say this is definitely a great thing she’s doing. What about you?

In Lee County, more than 62% of students in grades K-12 participate in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program - a jump of nearly 12% in just one school year.

She is due to appear at the school on March 4, 2009.

For anyone that  is a tween, teen or parent of a teen you’ve probably heard of "Stuff by Hilary Duff." It’s a great fashion line that tween girls love and moms love it because it isn’t showing off their daughter’s assets. I mean you’ve seen the clothes that are out there, Hilary Duff’s Stuff, is cute and in fashion.

But Hilary Duff announced earlier this month that she will be discontinuing the "Stuff" line. So moms, teen and tweens, get on out there and buy up the collection now while you can. Soon it’ll all go up in price for collectors. But maybe, if you are lucky they’ll go on sale at places that overstocked.

Hilary won’t be looking at designers teen clothes much longer, she wants to move on up, just like in her tv career. She’s looking to design adult clothing now.

Hilary Duff, aka Lizzie McGuire, has signed an agreement with NBC and will be getting her own tv series. Now the agreement is only for one year, so I guess this would be one season to see if she can do it.

Hilary of course has proven to be good at whatever it is she does, from fashion, acting on tv, appearing in movie roles, singing to developing perfumes. I don’t think she’ll fail at this. Do you?

Hilary Duff’s, War, Inc. came out on DVD today in both regular and Blu-ray, so for all those that weren’t able to hit the theaters, now is your time to get to watch her in something other than Disney.

Hilary Duff has already made two very successful perfumes, but she’s just announced she’s about to make her third perfume. This perfume will be more towards your fruity, yet floral fragrance. She’s wanting it to be perfect for the younger kids to wear and yet sophisticated enough for the adult that wants to entice her man.

Her other two fragrances were called, “With Love” and “Wrapped with Love.”  I can’t wait to hear what the new one is called, I”m guessing it’ll have the word LOVE in it. What’s your guess?
