Hilary Duff Goes to Elementary School

Hilary Duff is planning on visiting an Orange County Elementary School on Friday, May 23. She’ll actually be going to “Grand Avenue Elementary” to promote the “Blessing in a Backpack.”  For those that don’t know this program actually fills backpacks with food for kids so they have food during non-school days. I think this is a great cause and hope more people get involved.

This won’t be the first time Hilary Duff has done this either, she actually started helping with this last year. She served 6000 meals that one weekend. It’s amazing that it was so many meals and only one weekend though. Just goes to show how many are out there needing food.
