On Valentine’s Day most people are trying to spend all that time with their loved ones or trying to woo someone. That was not the case for Hilary Duff and many other celebrities. However, they were seen all decked out in red. For those that were not aware there was a big Heart-Disease Awareness function that went on in Bryant Park.

Around 20 celebrities strutted around in their sexy red dress to help raise the awareness, the event was called, “The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection 2009.” Hilary wore her hair up, long dangly earrings and some red manicured fingernails. Her red dress really clung to her body and the top reached around her neck from the front to the back. Showing bare shoulders.

This looks like something that would’ve been a ton of fun and for a great cause.

Wow, what an interesting week this has been. First we hear Faye Dunaway doesn’t approve of Hilary Duff playing the role she did so many years ago and now we hear Hilary strike back.

I mean you didn’t really think Hilary would let it go did you? Faye said, “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?” Talk about getting burned. Well it seems Hilary has went to E! to make her comments.

“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.”

OUCH! Well no one can say Hilary can’t throw a punch. She definitely knows how to swing. I think she got Faye just where it hurts, age and beauty.

Now when Grease was remade the actor/actress was very happy and approving of it, however when it comes to “Bonnie and Clyde” that just isn’t the case. In fact Faye has struck out at Hilary Duff and stated that she’s no actor. OUCH. Warren has stated that nothing is better than the original. So I guess neither want to see this new one.

In Faye Dunaway’s words, “Why didn’t they at least cast a real actress?” A bit harsh don’t you think Faye?

That’s right, Hilary Duff will play her own sister’s sister in her new role. Yeah I know, that sounded really weird but in Hilary Duff’s new role in Barely Legal she’s going to be working with her own sister. What do you think? Will she be able to pull it off? I certainly hope so. I bet the girls are excited about it though.

No, I’m not meaning Hilary Duff got in legal trouble. She really is joining the ranks of co-stars on an NBC legal drama. The legal show is called “Barely Legal” and I am just wondering what exactly this will be.

This is actually a true story of Kathleen Holtz, who actually became a licensed lawyer at age 18. Yes, she passed the bar. In the show Hilary will play a young lawyer that has just got her license. Course as a newbie that is so young I’m sure her fellow co-workers will never trust her judgement.

We all heard that Hilary Duff is going to be on Ghost Whisperer as a mysterious woman but there is new news on her career path. She’s planning on becoming an outlaw. What?

You heard me right, she has been cast in a new “Bonnie and Clyde” movie. Now this new version will be a more modern day type with the whole bank robbers and such. I’m thinking it might be pretty interesting, I just hope they make it better than these silly robber stories we’ve been hearing about in the news. No more pony tail bandits, she’s cute but come on.

Hilary Duff will be playing alongside Kevin Zegers. The directors definitely want this to be new and different and NOT a remake.

Hilary Duff had only been rumored to be appearing in Ghost Whisperer, however it has finally been confirmed that she has a cameo bit. Hilary will play the mysterious young woman. Oooh, sounds like fun. I also hear she got the part because she’s BFF with Jennifer Hewitt. Granted I doubt that was the ONLY reason she got it. I mean we’ve all seen she knows how to act.

Oh, these little lovebirds are just having a field day while they are in the hot Bahamas. Hey it beats the snow and cold doesn’t it?  These two will come back with a set of nice tans and all warm and ready to stay indoors.

Hilary Duff and long-time boyfriend, Mike Comrie from the NHL were spotted down in the Bahamas together. I’m pretty sure they were having a lovely time until they noticed all the cameras. In one picture I found of the two of them together he has his arm braced against a wall and she’s snuggled into his arms. He’s glaring at the cameras and it looks as if she’s trying to hide from them. Poor things, this had to have rained on their little vacation.  Course you could say she is kissing his chest, I think she’s hiding though.

Sorry folks, no pics of that one but I do have some so keep watching. But thought ya’ll would still like to see a picture of her anyways so this is her walking around town with her prada bag.

Hilary Duff got to ring the opening of the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) where she promoted her "Blessings in a Backpack." Blessings in a Backpack are little backpacks full of food to feed hungry children. Hilary was able to ring the bell, she wore a simple black dress (not quite her age), large thin black hoop earrings and a few beads around her neck. Looks as if she posed with a few of the stock holders and then did a few autographs. All this took place the day before Christmas Eve, so she’s had one busy holiday season.

I’m sure Hilary is keeping warm and spending some time with her family today. But hopefully we’ll see her coming and going throughout the days. Happy Holidays!

Hilary Duff is joining her co-stars on a petition opposing to a strike. That’s right she’s jumped into the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) strike and is waiting to see what comes next. Others that are with her are Robert Redford, Russel Crowe, Julianne Moore and many, many others. How long do you think the strike will last? We all know it’ll probably come down to that.

Hilary Duff is strutting her stuff all over Maxim and she’s definitely not that little girl from Lizzie anymore. Nope this young lady is all grown up and has a lot more to offer. The Maxim should’ve hit the racks today, December 23. But for those that can’t go get it can view the photo shoot with some very HOT pics of Hilary Duff. These were definitely not a Disney take.

Hilary Duff is definitely a feline lover. This past Wednesday she was spotted coming out of a Maxwell Dog Pet Store with a few fluffy toys for her kitty. You may remember spotting her little cats on the furniture of some of her magazine shots a while back. This girl definitely knows how to treat her cat.

Since many of us are really big Hilary Duff fans and have loved her since Lizzie McGuire I want to know your thoughts on if "30 Rock" or "The Office" were to give her a part in the show. It is obvious she wants to take that next stage in her career and get out of kid/teen roles but is America ready? 

Keep in mind she has goals/dreams too, here’s what she told People Magazine:

"I get to call the shots," Duff, 21, said, joking with MTV News. "I would like to do something funny … or I would like to kick ass or something.

I would love to do something on The Office," Duff tells MTV. "30 Rock is great – very funny. Many people have done lots of guest spots on it this season."

I thought she was very good in War, INC and definitely grown up. But still it made me feel like I was watching Lizzie McGuire with the singing. I do think she’s ready and has been ready for a while now. Knowing how she feel are you ready to see her in tv series once again like ‘30 Rock’ or ‘The Office’ ?
